COST SHARING
HOW IT WORKS...
Professional architectural photography is a vital investment, but it doesn't have to be a solo expense. Cost-sharing allows all project partners—builders, architects, and suppliers—to access world-class imagery while splitting the production costs.
THE PROCESS
EASY 4 STEP PROCESS:

STEP 1: The Invitation: Before the shoot date, we identify key partners
(e.g., the builder, cabinet maker, or rug supplier) whose work is featured.
They are invited to join the "cost-share pool" upfront.

STEP 2: Shot List: Input Partners who join the cost-share can provide input on the shot list. This ensures the photographer (The Design Villa) captures the specific details, textures, or angles that highlight your specific contribution.

STEP 3: The Combined Invoice: Instead of paying a full $1895+ daily rate,
a "Multi-Party License" is applied (a 25% surcharge per additional party).
The new total is then split equally between all participating members.

STEP 4: Digital Delivery: Once edited, each partner receives their own
high-resolution gallery and a legal usage license in their company name.
EXAMPLE COST SHARING 3 PARTIES:
Standard Day Rate = $1895 plus GST (includes one license)
Additional Licenses (25% of day rate) = $470 x 3
Cost per party then becomes $830 plus GST
THE LICENSE USAGE: Each business receives their own license to use the images as they see suitable for their own marketing purposes, including web site, socials, advertising, award entry's etc.
Copywrite remains with The Design Villa and Louise will facilitate any PR or Print Editorial requests on behalf of all party's.
